Has it been an eternity, or what?

Well, now that I've made a Radiant Way topic on the WADbase and included a link to this blog in it, I think this blog will be getting more hits.

So, uh, if you're from the WADbase and youre' reading this, PM me so that I'll know people are actually reading this.

UPDAT (purposely spelled like that)

Ah, let's see, lotsa stuff to talk about.

I'm working on, like, three different levels at the same time. I'm working on the first act of Zone 2, the first zone's Adventure field (nope, not complete yet), and the first Special stage, which is a speed zone, mind you. I'll upload pics in a little bit.

I was recently added to the team that's working on the Next Gen mod being made by Hyper Sonildow. The mod itself is actually really cool. I'll be drawing sprites of the civilians for the town stages, but progress is moving at a snail's pace, which is rather disappointing.

Nice talking for a few short moments. I'll be back with another update in a few weeks.

This games winner is...

This games winner is...Lucas! Ha, literally. Kinda ironic how two characters in Brawl are Ike and Lucas. How weird...
We just got our power back. Besides the living room fan and the A/C, everything works fine. We can get by without A/C, we have about over 9000 fans (I don't think I'm kidding).
Anyway, while the power has been out (today would've been day10), I have done almost nothing but READ. I picked up the Redwall novels off of my sisters shelf, and read the first three books. They were awesome. Oh, and I picked up Brisingr the day it came out. It was...okay.
Anyway, now that the power is back on, I will continue diligently with Radiant Way. Adios!

"Into the Inferno"

Some of you might remember this as the title to Part 3 of the Avatar movie "Sozin's Comet." However, I am not referring to Fire Lords taking over the world with the comet. No, I'm talking about something else entirely.
If you haven't yet checked from the date, today is September 12, 2008. This is quite a fearful day, because, in 12 hours, as of 12:03 Pm on Sept. 12, '08, Hurricane Ike will make landfall. It's going to be the first hurricane I've ever experienced in my life, and, frankly, I'm quite nervous. It's predicted that it will make landfall as, maybe, a Category 3 hurricane, but it's more likely it will land as a Category 2. When it's hits my residential area, the winds will be at around 80-90 mph, so I wonder to myself if the old house will withstand it.
Anyway, on discussion with Radiant Way, it's going quite well. The first version of Mount Dawn Act 1 is pretty much finished; as for Act 2, it needs some more work, though I'm almost there. I can see a public beta coming out in most likely 2 weeks. I'm going to post a video of it on YouTube today before the hurricane hits so that people will be able to see it before my power gets cut for most likely 3-7 days, which will suck. Ah well, life's not perfect. So, this will probably be the last post for sometime, as I will not get any progress level-wise with the mod.
That will be all. And please pray for me. I know I'm gonna need it.

Welcome

Welcome to my little spot on the internet. Most people will never visit this blog, ya know. I'll try and make it as peppy as possible, but it'll never work, right? So tell all your friends about it, and come here every weekend, where I'll have an update, m'kay?

Alright, the first post. Whoopee. As you might not know, this is the development blog for the Single Player mod "Radiant Way" for the highly modifiable, highly popular Sonic the Hedgehog fangame, Sonic Robo Blast 2. Pop over to SRB2 website for more info. And, by the way, it's a doenload to play game. But before your parents start shouting "OH NOEZ!!PROGRAM HAS VIRUS BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN!!!!1" let me let you in on a little piece of info. If SRB2 had a virus in it, it wouldn't have a userbase of 6000+ people playing it, editing it (most of them, poorly), and simply having fun. The game runs on all three major OS, Windows, Mac, and Linux. Also, for those that have one and are interested, there is a port for the Dreamcast (though it's uber-crappy).

Radiant Way has been in development for the last 3 weeks as of the writing of this post, and, currently, only 3 levels have been made (though one took me less than an hour). Add the fact that I'm making hand drawn cutscenes for it, and, well, you're looking at a project that won't see a full release for the next 18-24 months! But, I am persistent, and I intend to finish this. I would also appericiate help from any skilled wadders who happen to find this blog, please PM at the SRB2 Message Boards (user name: Chisuun) or on YouTube (username: ProneSteewdeeos). PM me there, as I rarely check my Yahoo! mail, and it fills with spam anyway..

Thank you for you're time.
